Many years have been spent laying the foundation of Biblical Counselling in Southern Africa. We are especially thankful to God for the ministry of Dr Wayne Mack who has served God faithfully at Lynnwood Baptist Church in Pretoria, South Africa. Last year Biblical Counselling Equip – Africa began a monthly webinar entitled Resolve: Biblical Counselling Conversations that sought to promote Biblical Counselling through a monthly teaching opportunity. We had a wonderful response to these reaching many all over Africa.

Our desire is to continue hosting a two-hour session via Zoom on the last Wednesday of each month in 2024. The speaker is asked to choose a specific counselling topic to teach and allow for questions at the end. This class will be hosted at 7pm South African time. In these meetings we hope to:

• Introduce the students to the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC)
• Maintain a relationship between our training centre and trusted counsellors
• Demonstrate the usefulness of the Scriptures in counselling
• Advance certification with ACBC
• Promote trusted resources and speakers
